Our “new” home in Cuero was built in 1880. When we moved in, we knew we needed a topnotch electrical contractor to help us. There were many problems with lights not working in certain areas, outlets with no power and ancient knob and tube wiring (ungrounded circuits with exposed wires) throughout the house. Wires were run in the crawl space under the house, the partial basement and the attic as well as floors and walls. The excellent construction of the house made troubleshooting difficult and tedious.
This work started out small and just continued to reveal more and more problems as time went on. We called Countryside Electric and they came to our rescue. There was no way to quote a firm price because we had no idea how much work was required.
We talked with Clint and based on the way he approached the problems, we had faith that he had the ability to handle everything. For three weeks Clint dedicated an amazing crew to our house. They showed up promptly every day at 7:30 with a cheerful can-do attitude and a work ethic that was totally impressive. The work was hard. It was in uncomfortable places, and involved cutting through thick wooden walls and floors.
When the work was complete, my wife, a licensed interior designer, was completely happy with the cosmetic results. I am a licensed engineer and I can tell you that there were no technical issues left undone.
On top of that, the pricing for the work was very fair and explained in excellent detail.
If you have ever done any work with any contractor, you know that this kind of result is virtually unheard of. I cannot say enough good about Clint and his crew. I strongly recommend and endorse Countryside no matter the size of your job.

We had been having trouble with our outlets and a light fixture not working and they were able to come same day I called the first time. They were already committed to a full days work but said they would come at 5pm and then stayed to find the issue and was able to fix it. Even stayed later than their business hours to get us fixed. Our power went out at our house yesterday around 6pm and we didn't know why. We thought it was a problem with the electric company. Its wasn't. My husband called Clint the very next morning.
